Fans Excited As Mani Ratnam And AR Rahman Reunite

Mani Ratnam’s next romantic entertainer will have music by A.R. Rahman ending weeks of speculation about a possible collaboration with Sai Abhyankkar.

The film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. This marks the 19th collaboration between the iconic director and the Oscar winning composer.

Sources confirmed that Rahman has already started work and some reports suggest he may have completed a song.

The untitled film is a romantic entertainer produced under Mani Ratnam’s banner and pre-production is expected to begin soon. Shooting is likely to start around July.

Vijay Sethupathi who previously worked with Mani Ratnam praised the director’s speed and creativity adding to fans excitement.
